Park & Town (Maprun) event - 9 March 2024
Event Info
What
- This event will use Maprun as the timing and scoring system
- If you haven't yet used Maprun this is an ideal opportunity to get familiar in a relaxed and scenic environment with what is becoming an increasingly used system for orienteering in urban environments
- It will have three courses short, medium and long
- It can be done as an individual or as a team
- The courses will suit all levels of skills and fitness

Short 2.5km
Middle 5km
Long 10km
When
- Saturday 9th March 2024
- 2:30 - 3.30 pm Registration and map pick up at the Park & Town event centre shown below
- Start the event at your leisure
Where
- Proceed along Lake Terrace (The road along the lakefront) from the town centre
- Turn right at Wharewaka road approximately 6 Km from the town centre
- Take the 2nd road to the right down to the 3 Mile Bay boat ramp area

Entry fees
- Individuals: $5 (club members), $10 (non-club members)
- Teams (2-5 persons): $10 (at least 1 club member), $15 (all non-club members)
- Late entries (on the day) subject to map availability - add $5 to relevant entry fee.
